About Simon Andrews

simon_smallSimon Andrews is the head of bioinformatics at The Babraham Institute.  He started out as a microbiologist, before moving into molecular biology and eventually bioinformatics.

His informatics experience covers a wide range of topics from genomics and proteomics to image analysis.  Some of his larger projects have been publicly released.

In his spare time he plays with Cambridge Symphonic Winds and the Cam Saxophone Quartet, as well as singing with the Cantilena singers.
